perverse writing

This week I have been doing some perverse writing about should the Olympics be on or if it shouldn't be on. I had to write 15 sentences I had 3 hours. I write for the Olympics to be on. It was very hard. I haven't finished it yet. For the first paragraph is about the medals. The second paragraph is about people want attention. The third paragraph is about Tokyo has paid a lot and I haven't finished the rest of the paragraph. Have you done perverse writing about the Olympics before? here is a link.        

  

Term 2

This term we have been doing a lot of stuff. I have been doing sculpt gl on sculpt gl I had to make an alien then write about it I made 2 it was very fun! my class have do P.E with Naomi we practise football we dribbling the ball, use my left or right foot with the ball it was good if I wanted to play football. 

My class has been working on animated gif it is when you go on to a screencastifiy for about 10 seconds then take a photo or search one up and put the background it was very fun. I have been doing Lego club which is when you have three people one has to be the builder one has to be an engineer which is when you have the instructions and you tell the builder where to put the Lego and the supplier what pieces to get it is very fun. my class has been doing a kahoot which is when you have to answer a lot of questions and you get a random amount of points it is very fun. 

We have also been working on doing google music lab which is when you can make any type of music you want then you can sing to it it was fun.  I have been practising for a debate I had to tell people that zoos are good for animals it was fun. my class was doing art for Matariki which is when I had to make art for Matariki and matariki activities it was fun. I have been doing a song called E tu tangata we stand together and it is cool. Have you done any of these things before?

                  

 

Matariki star and boat basket

 This week some of the seniors in the school came into my class to do some art I got to help.  This is an image of Matariki. She is the mother of the six sister's  in a Maori myth about star patterns we searched the image from the web. We transferred it on to the star we were asked to paint it for the Matariki Festival we painted it with acrylic paint. We needed to be very careful. This is the star painted by the senior students in Piwakawaka and Kereru. We had to make boat baskets to we had to make them out of flax. We had to use them for a sausage sizzles.

 This week I have been doing some art about Matariki. It was hard and fun. I had to do a mountian range and smudge some colours  and put on some stickers.  This is my procedure writing about how to make my Matriki art . Have you ever done Matariki art before?

 Last week I was learning about how to write an information report about the water cycle. First I write about how evaporation happens and where it goes next. Next I write about it goes to the mountains. lastly I write about it goes down a stream and to a river.           Have you ever write a information report before?

Yesterday Catherine from St John came she teach us how to bandage. We had to get into groups of four and three I went into a group of 4 we had to chose a patient I got chosen the other people in my team had to wrap my arm and leg. She told use about stroke and told use if they have it you can see if half of there face is droopy, a arm goes down, they tongue goes to one side, if one of there hands don't squeezes and if there speech sounds funny.      Have you seen a person from St John before?        

 

Giant Skate Board Visit

 Today a giant skate came to visit the school it was so cool.The skate board could fit 83 people on it. The skate board was 18 times larger than a real skate board. The skate board came because it was promoting the Olympics. The Olympics is at Tokyo this year.      Has the giant skate board came to you yet?
