Today the man came to cut the tree becuase some of it was nearly toching the power line. They had a machine that turned it in to little bits of wood and then it went into the back of the truck.
Hi Zack That is a good job that the man did, as trees touching power lines can be very dangerous. It would have been very interesting to watch. Did you see the man at school, when he was there cutting down some of the trees in the fort? It looked pretty scary to me! Do you think cutting down trees would be an interesting job Zack?
That big thing is called a chipper.It is good as it lets them take away all the waste so easily. What is the name of a person that cuts and trims trees called? See if you can find out.
Hi Zack. It would have been great to see the chipper munch up the tree into little pieces. That is a pretty handy thing to be able to do isn't it? It's a good idea that the trees have been cut down now before they get too much taller. We had to get some enormous trees cut down at my house as well and it was certainly amazing to see the machinery that the aborist (that is the name you call a person who trims trees) use to do this.
